Pope urges church to focus on saving marriages

Associated Press -
Pope Benedict XVI has urged church tribunals to work harder to encourage couples to stay married and not resort to granting annulments "at all costs."

So if an annulment nullifies the marriage, does it nullilfy the communion while the marriage was intact? I would rather join a religion that recognizes my past marriage, my future marriage, and allows me to take communion. I don't need the catholic chruch to tell me I have to stay married to someone I no longer care for, or love.

You are correct Reality. The "pope" should encourage its sheep to adhere to the entire Bible, not just the parts that enable it to perpetuate its influence.

The POPE needs to focus on "Birth Control", the birth rate for Catholic's is only producting future Welfare recipipents. The major reason for our tax incresaes.

"Pastoral Charity"....."at all costs" translation--- it's gonna cost you more for an annulment and if the marriage never took place then the children that were born of the marriage don't exist so there is no child support since there was no marriage with no children.....
