SPIRITUAL DISCUSSION: “Call of Soul,” a spiritual discussion, will be held from 2 to 3:30 p.m. at the Carver Branch Library, 3350 E. Commerce St. The discussion, presented by the Texas Satsang Society, will be based on the book “The Call of Soul.” For more information, call (210) 737-6863.

QUILT BLESSING: MacArthur Park Lutheran Church, 2903 Nacogdoches Road, will celebrate the ministry of its quilters’ group with a blessing ceremony of 80 quilts at the 8:30 and 10:45 a.m. services. SAN ANTONIO BRASS CONCERT: The San Antonio Brass will present “Glorious Gabrieli” at 7:30 p.m. at Beacon Hill Presbyterian Church, 1101 W. Woodlawn Ave. There are no tickets for this event but donations are suggested; $10 for adults, $5 for students and seniors.
